Homework is generally posted on the day it is assigned. Assignments are due at the next class, unless otherwise stated. If an assignment is given in class but isn't posted here for whatever reason, you're still responsible for it.

HW due and Quiz on Fri. 10/1

  • On pp. 117-121, read Chapter 3 Lesson 7 "Parallel and Perpendicular Lines," and do Exercise Sets I and II.
  • We will have a quiz tomorrow on Chapter 3. One of the questions will be to prove one of the eight theorems found in the chapter. (The theorems are all listed together on p. 123.)

  • On pp. 98-100, just read Chapter 3 Lesson 4 "Bisection." We'll do problems from that section in class on Monday. Keep bringing your book to class.

  • On pp. 42-45, read Chapter 2 Lesson 1 "Conditional Statements," and do Exercise Sets I, II, and III.
  • Just for G block class: Additionally, on pp. 46-47, read Chapter 2 Lesson 2 "Definitions." (You do not have to do exercises for this lesson yet.)
One more thing: please bring your textbook to class for the next few classes.
